Steve and Kristi are the parents of Kaylee Goncalves, who was part of a group of young University of Idaho students – commonly known as the Idaho Four – who tragically lost their lives to a senseless act of violence in 2022. The incident not only rocked the U.S. but shocked the world.
In the face of unimaginable loss, Steve and Kristi have chosen to turn their grief into purpose. Working with the Murder Has a Name organization, they are committed to honoring Kaylee’s life by supporting victims, standing with families, and ensuring those seeking justice have the resources to pursue answers.
